I'm sick and tired.......

Ok.  So the off season seems particularily long this year for some reason.  Perhaps it was the loss to ECU (an anti-climactic ending if I ever saw one).  Perhaps it is just the anticipation of another great season by Boise State. 

Whatever it is I decided to start a thread EVERYONE can contribute to.  Just finish the sentence and be creative.  I know we all (or most of us anyway) would end it with ...of Soohell or ...of Blacker (for example).  So be creative and have fun with it.  I look forward to seeing where this goes.

I'm sick and tired......... of KU fans........

Last night my hometown Manhattan Kansas was struck by a tornado...many people lost their homes and the KSU campus was hit with 20 plus million dollars in damage....countless 100 year old tress were reduced to twigs....one of my life long friends homes was severely  damaged....several businesses were total losses.....

so what do I read today from Jayhawk land...."that's karma fellows....just another reason KU is a much better place to live and go to school"..."you got what you deserve"...

are you kidding me....for someone who claims they believe in karma....that dude just sealed his afterlife in hell....

now if the stadium had been hit and no other damage had been done in town....I might see the humor....

I asked him if the 4 boy scouts in Iowa  got what they deserved  because of bad karma....no response from him yet...

Crane....as always nice thread..thanks for letting me vent...by the way..my moms house(the one I grew up in) came out fine and my mom spent the night in the basement....said it was the worse one she had ever been through..said it lasted 10 minutes....she's 75 and seen a few twisters in her day...funny thing is...both my parents are KU grads...

We all know UNLV isn't anywhere near the top, but come on.  Coach Sanford, win atleast 5 games this year bubba, or hit the road.

......of all the preseason mags puuting us in the low 60's to 70's all the time. We beat UNC last year and they are in the mid 40s. Of course these are not a good representation of what your season will turn out to be but it would still feel good to get a little respect. The same mag has Notre Dame 19th so I guess I dont feel that bad if they were that off but it wouldnt hurt for them not to treat us like we are a piece of crap every preseason.

First of all Cat, I'm glad to hear your family is safe.  The weather around the US is crazy right now.  I've never understood completely how people can live in tornado alley, but then I guess you just have to pick your favorite natural disasters.  From mudslides and earthquakes in California to hurricanes in the south to ice storms in the midwest to floods along the Mississippi, there really is no truly "safe" place to live.

I think I'll take good old Idaho.  That being said, that poster was a complete moron.  Do you have the link?  I'm sure there are those here who would love to express their "opinion" on the topic.

I understand where you are coming from, but that is the albatros around every mid-major's neck.  Rarely will a mid-major be ranked in the pre-season top 25.  They always seem to fall from the season prior.  They key is to string together a bunch of conference championships and throw in a BCS bowl win.  Then you might get a little respect in the pre-season polls.  Of course, your team can't lose any key players...you know, like the back up tight end.  *sarcasm dripping here*

Crying out loud! It's not even October.  Makes no difference what party. Surely there are other things going on. Oh well...... at least at the end of August we'll have GAME TIME !!!

For those that don't know we have a major wildfire about 60 minutes northeast of Greenville NC.   About 40,000+ acres (60+ square miles) have burned and this is the second week of it.  The wind shifted Wed. and blew the smoke down here.

im just sick and tired...keep playing THE PLAGUE tag with roommates and coworkers, that and the 6 bottles of saki from dinner last night are AMAZING...i actually re-enacted the final moments of the Fiesta(cha cha cha) and those poor OU ROLLS looked devastated when the Zabranksy Roll faked the pass to the wasabi sauce and the Ian Roll ran it into the soy-ginger sauce...it was bittersweet

Amen to that Cat, whats the deal with the 55 MPH speed zone, when all they have done is line the road with K-rails, still no additional sign of construction.  Can't they wait to change the speed limit until they are ACTUALLY DOING SOMETHING!!!!  Sheesh, sorry that is one of my big pet peves.

Lobe....I only drive it once or twice a month...but it still is a horribly way for us to show people driving through Idaho what a hick state(in their opinion) we really are.....
