TE Scott Orndoff 6'6" 245lbs Seton-La Salle. He is a ESPN-U watch 150 player, 3 Stars by Scout.com, 13th ranked TE. Not yet ranked by Rivals.com yet.

He played QB and WR also in high school, this kid has unlimited potential.

Suppose to be a receiver type TE ala Dorien Dickerson.  Nice pick up.  Next they need a blocking TE like Byam.

OT Aaron Reese 6'5" 290lbs Chambersburg, PA, Chambersburg Area. He is not ranked and has no stars as of yet.

DE Shakir Soto 6'4" 235lbs Wilkes Barre (Pa.) G.A.R. Memorial. He is not ranked and has no stars as of yet. He was recruited by BCS schools Boston College, Maryland, Temple and Virginia. Also by Bowling Green, Kent State and UMass. 

I hope theses guys are diamonds in the rough, flying under the radar.

OG Dan Samuelson 6'5" 290lbs Plymouth, IN, Plymouth HS. He is a 3 Star recruit at both scout.com (57th ranked) and rivals.com (NR). Samuelson had offers from Illinois, Minnesota and Wake Forest from the BCS schools. Also Bowling Green, W Michigan, and Wyoming.

NICE a road grader.  Sounds like he is the kind of lineman Chryst is looking to build his offense around.

FB Jaymar Parrish 6'0" 230lbs Monroeville (Pa.) Gateway. He was a TE in high school, no stars and ranked 9th as a TE, but is considered a better FB. 

Soto, a Pitt commit, was one of 400 high school seniors across the nation nominated for a spot in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. He's one of just 14 Pennsylvania players to be nominated.

I see OT Dan Samuelson backed out and is now committed to Nebraska.  Did anyone hear anything about why?  I know these guys this far out change from time to time.  Just wondered if anyone heard his reasoning.

Nebraska is probably offering more money.  no   I think he is from indiana so maybe its closer to home.  Im not sure if that could be why.  

Tony Harper 6'4" 195lbs Safety from Toledo, OH, the coaches are recruiting him as an H-back type of prospect. He worked out on the offensive side of the ball this past weekend and the staff apparently wss sold on that performance.

WR Zach Challingsworth 6'4" 184lbs, 4.43 in the 40 (McDonalds, PA), South Fayette HS. The scouting report on Challingsworth lists him as a tall and rangy receiver who is very sound in his route running and receiving skills. Rivals.com analyst Josh Helmholdt watched Challingsworth at the Rivals.com/VTO Sports Pennsylvania Elite 100 and called him a natural pass catcher.

RB Corey Clement 5'11" 200 lbs, Glassboro HS, Glassboro, NJ, 4 Stars by scout.com and 3 Stars by rivals.com. An instinctive runner with good hands, Clement has very little wasted motion. He is smooth in and out of his cuts. He has good vision and patience setting up his blocks. He'll fight for yardage in traffic without trying to do too much. Clement is a capable blocker in pass protection, a skill that should help his transition to college. Lacks the extra gear in the open field, but gets the most out of each of his carries. Corey said; "I see Pitt as a great school for me; I believe I can be the next one for Pitt," he said. "I like the running backs coach and we really connected. He said he knew I could be a great running back at Pitt because I'm fast and elusive and a downhill runner. I could really see myself being a Pitt Panther.

i saw on Scout that Clement had offers from a huge list of programs, some very good ones.  Nice to see him in the fold at this time.  Hope he stays.

CB Titus Howard 6'2" 160lbs, Clairton HS, Clairton, Pa. 2 Stars by rivals.com and 3 stars by scout.com has had a successful Spring Evaluation Period to this point, with several offers coming his way. Aside from the schools who have offers, many other schools have also stopped by Clairton recently to check out the athletic corner. He had offers from UConn, Toledo, Arkansas St and YSU. In my opinion this kid will make a good D-1 safety, after adding 40lbs!

P Ryan Winslow 6'5" 215lbs Wyndmoor, PA. Pitt needed a punter in the recruiting class of 2013, and Paul Chryst filled that need on Monday night.

DT Tyrique Jarrett 6'4" 315lbs, Allderdice HS, Pittsburgh, PA. Will join the Panthers as part of the class after spending the fall at Milford Academy. He was a 3 stars recruit last season and ranked 28th best DT with scout.com. 2 stars from rivals.com and 3 stars, 76th best DT with ESPN.
