There are places that I wouldn't move to under any circumtances for any amount of money or to satisfy however many fans.

Back in '87 Cleveland drafted Fuzzy to work in their tax bureau, but Fuzzy refused to sign and was eventually traded to Denver for a couple of clerks and a fax machine.

All the best jobs in professional football are with the 32 teams in the NFL, and they have a system whereby the worst teams get to pick first. Imagine that system applied in other industries - you're a hotshot software engineer dying to work for Apple, and Apple wants you, but AOL has had yet another terrible year of mismanagement and bad decisions, so they get to pick you instead, and unless they release your signing rights your only choices are to work for AOL, work for a little start-up somewhere, or find a different career.

Gentlemen - Lefty is back from a wonderful vacation in the Gatlenburg/Cherokee area.  Well rested and with a new perspective (at least for awhile).  Saw turkey, deer and even an elk.  Beautiful area. .... then again, many sights are better than sand, alligators, palm trees and scrub oaks - of course we always like what we don't have. ... guess that's the reason for vacations!!


I noticed the board traffic is starting to pick-up since some new names are popping up and new posts.  I got used to this one being first. ....

Thanks Wil.  Been swamped at work since we're squeezing stuff in before shutdown in two weeks.  That and yard work with all the good weather we've had.  Been trying to get that done so I can enjoy the summer in my hammock.

I just wanted to post on this page as it has half the guys back on it and before I could type my eyes started tearing up with over whelming feelings of it being to long!

Before I got outta town there was a bold statement made about publishing rankings - I can't quite remember who that was.  I do remember this beloved member believes that training camp & preseason are pretty meaningless in assessing players - and we should just draft now so all his 'sleepers' aren't revealed (other than Joe Flacco and Tannehill).  Wonder what happened to that guy?  Perhaps he realized posting rankings now is a tad premature - or may tip his hand?  Then again, the sheer number of sleepers may have exceeded the posting limit.  Pick enough and you are bound to get some right.  I really miss that guy - and the fantasy world is forced to wait. ........

Don't worry the rankings are almost finished. I was thinking of saving the precious list for the grand premier of our newly founded web estate. Then posting them on our beloved sister site the CBS boards maybe a few weeks later. You know like they do with movies. Pay per view then to premium channels then finally to regular old tv.

If I recall, he posted his rankings before we drafted last year. His rankings didn't have any impact on anybody's picks in the MBBRL draft - including Foot himself.
