This week the boys come to the famed track in Indy and about an hours drive from the Rat. Its been very hot and dry all summer, we are in the midst of a major drought like a lot of states. We are hoping to get the rain they are promising both today and Thursday, the forecast for Friday is for isolated storms. The weekend forecast is for a pretty good weekend with temps in the upper 80's and lower 90's, considering we have been in the upper 90's and 100's its going to seem downright cool. The higher the temps, the slicker the brickyard gets. If it does hit 90 on Sunday, it could be a race like Daytona/Talledega where everyone just rides for the first 300 miles, then business will pick up. Good Luck and enjoy the race.

Thanks River_Rat for the update, personally a race is just a race even at my FAV race track so I pray that our Father Lord will open the Heavens a rain down upon Indiana and the other states that need it. If it rains so hard maybe they'll have to close the season at Indy, then again they may need their ice skates in November!
