Alright, so let's look at what we still need since we got some time...
1.) O-line looks set. (Anyone else would pretty much be camp competition at this point)
2.) Got a future NT for the D-line. Could still use another 5-technique I suppose for competition.
3.) Grabbed a guy to (hopefully) groom for an ILB spot in a year or two.
4.) Rainey fills our return need and possibly complimentary back
Leaving:
-Secondary
Didn't help ourselves much here, though I'm not sure we were expected to. Would have liked to see a S drafted, but we could still pick one up or wait until next year. Think they'll take a late round flier on a CB in the 7th.
-Wide Receiver
Passed on some interesting guys, but we're already set 1-4 (for this year at least). Think they'll look hard at who's available in the 7th.
-P/K
I'm personally fine with Kapinos, but I know some don't think much of him. Hate wasting picks on these two positions. Not a Suisham fan, but I'd rather they look after the draft.
-FB
Still not sure what they're looking for here. If they want a true FB I think they'll look to grab their pick of the litter. If they wait for FA that tells me they're still not 100% decided on what they want.
-Depth
O-line, DE, TE, QB, RB, etc
Really wish they could have saved that 6th and gotten away with only giving up the 7th instead. Oh well.
Unfortunately for them I think they overachieved last year. Doubt they do much better than last year.
Not sure Dalton has much higher of a ceiling than he showed last year (not that that's anything to sneeze at) and that combined with everyone having a full season of tape on him tells me he could be in for a rougher year.
hey i am a big character guy, but do we roll the dice, and spend one of our 7thround picks on vontez burfect (sp?)? the upside is there and it does not cost that much. we need a inside guy, and he could be a good fit to learn a year in the system.
I cut my lawn, grilled some steaks and ate supper.
Looks like 58,79, 118 flew off the board, figures.
When you move up out of a round, you take a risk for reward.
I hope Alemeda Ta'mau gets his tank full of gas and runs for 4 quarters, John Mitchell is on a mission.
Really liked Justin Bethel, I think he will be a ST star.
Criner, Jones, Streeter all wiped off the board, I am not even sure who BPA is anymore. If someone wants to attmept it, cut and paste my last list and we can all adjust it together.
